Our Partners

"Our times demand a new definition of leadership - global leadership. They demand a new constellation of international cooperation - governments, civil society and the private sector, working together for a collective global good."

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon

Regional and sub- regional organizations have been UNLIREC's long-standing implementing partners and recent recipients of its technical assistance, while UNLIREC works in ever-close coordination with other UN agencies, within the framework of "One UN", and with various inter-agency coordination mechanisms, such as the UN Coordinating Action on Small Arms (CASA) Mechanism. UNLIREC also engages in joint activities with civil society organizations, which bring to the table distinct disarmament perspectives and expertise.
